Experience the thrill of walking alongside the game in a Wildlife Reserve and explore Lake Malawi with an amazing scheduled departure tour to Likoma Island on Mv. Ilala and take in the breathtaking sights and great vibe.

DAY 1 (THU) Arrive Lilongwe – Kuti Wildlife Reserve
Upon your arrival at Kamuzu International Airport, you are met by your Mango Voyagers representative, who will then assist you to your awaiting transfer car. Transfer by road to a tranquil bush in the heart of Salima where a welcome awaits at Kuti Wildlife Reserve.

Day 2 (FRI) Kuti Wildlife - Nkhotakota
Kuti is well known as home to a variety of flora and fauna native to Central Africa. You will experience all that the reserve has to offer you on your early morning Bush walk with the reserve’s knowledgeable guide. Head back to the camp for breakfast and the spend the remainder of your morning at leisure experiencing the serenity and harmony of this special place. After lunch head out north to Nkhotakota where your lake adventure begins at Chris’ Cottage. Dinner will be served followed by an escort to board the ship to Likoma Island – set on the Mozambican side of Lake Malawi but part of Malawi Later in the evening embark on approximately 7-hour expedition on Mv ilala, overnight in a Standard cabin on Mv ilala.

Day 3 (SAT) Nkhotakota - Likoma Island
Snap a photo of the beautiful sunrise over Lake Malawi from the deck and enjoy a breakfast at a cozy restaurant on the Mv ilala, Arrival in Likoma Island before midday, you will be picked and transferred to Ulisa Bay Lodge, a sanctuary for the explorers of the world. Enjoy lunch, relax and spend the rest of the day at leisure Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4 (SUN) Likoma Island
Adventure is hotter in Likoma Island. From the sun drenched golden beaches to the diverse blend of cultures and watersports. Enjoy Breakfast before setting off to the magnificent St Peters Cathedral Church a wonder of architecture and engineering built over hundred years ago by the British as the center of the Anglican Church in Southern Africa. Return to the lodge for lunch, the afternoon is at leisure to explore this charming island.

Day 5 (MON) Likoma Island
The day is at leisure, follow the footpaths around the shoreline that will lead you until you find a spot that suits you.

Day 6 (TUE) Likoma Island to Nkhotakota
We leave Likoma Island in the morning and head back to Nkhotakota where arrival will be in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Chris’s Cottage.

Day 7 (WED) Nkhotakota to Lilongwe
After a hearty breakfast you will be transferred to Lilongwe. Enjoy quality time exploring this beautiful city.

Day 8 (THU) Depart from Lilongwe
After breakfast, time to say your goodbyes as you make your way to back to Lilongwe
