On arrival at Kamuzu International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Ntchisi Forest Lodge for a two-night stay. Freshen up and get to know your friendly hosts during a briefing of what lies ahead. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and lake views. Dinner and overnight.

You cannot leave Malawi without an encounter with the local people. After breakfast visit a nearby village where you will meet and encounter a variety of experiences that includes visits to a local brewery, school and shops. In addition, you will have an opportunity to learn how to cook the national dish “nsima” for the day’s lunch. Last activity of the day includes a guided walk with a traditional healer through the fields near the village and in the forest. At the end of the day you will head back to Ntchisi Forest Lodge where you will have dinner before retiring for the day. (The school visit is subject to the school being open)

The next leg of the journey takes you to Luwawa Forest Lodge set high in Viphya plateau 5,200 ft. above sea level, in a fresh and malaria-free climate. Arrive in late afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

The day is devoted purely to the incredible wilderness experiences with surrounding woodlands and walking trails waiting to be explored.

This morning you will be served with an early hearty breakfast, after which you will check out of your lodge and set off to Nyika National Park Malawi’s largest game park. Head out in the evening to track down Nyika’s nocturnal species such as leopard, serval and hyena. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Get up to make the most of your day in Nyika National Park, home to a wealth of animal species. Your guide will endeavor to spoil you with sightings of large herds of antelope species across the rolling grasslands such as eland, roan and Zebra while stopping at the patches of forest and water sources to marvel at the prolific bird-life. Return to the lodge after the day’s game activities for Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you collect your lunch boxes and leave Nyika. Enjoy a pleasant morning drive to Nkhatabay where a warm welcome awaits at a private white sand beach with a superb, secluded retreat and wonderful views across Africa’s third largest fresh water lake. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Makuzi Beach Lodge.

Wake to the rich colours of the sunrise and set off to Kande Horse & Stables Guest House after breakfast for your ride through the beaches of Lake Malawi. You will be introduced to your team on arrival before safety briefing. Enjoy a fantastic morning of riding through the beach and the surrounding villages. Return to the lodge for lunch, enjoy the rest of the day leisure along the beautiful shores of Lake Malawi. Dinner and Overnight.

Today we set out after breakfast for Nankoma Island a part of the Marelli islands which fall within Lake Malawi National Park located opposite Senga Bay. Arrive in time for a boat transfer that takes you to Blue Zebra Island Lodge. Enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring this UNESCO Heritage site which gives you a chance to see Lake Malawi’s endemic cichlid and if you are a birding enthusiast you will enjoy a wonderful array of bird life the island is renowned for. Dinner and overnight.

Time to say your goodbyes, breakfast will be served before being transferred back from the island to the mainland where you are to be picked and transferred by road to Lilongwe to catch your homebound flight.
